Information Security and Artificial Intelligence Policy Statement

Qualabs establishes as general policy to implement, maintain, and continuously improve an integrated Information Security and Artificial Intelligence Management System, based on ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 42001 standards, appropriate for the organization's purpose, context, services, stakeholders, risks, and organizational objectives.

Within the framework of this policy, Qualabs commits to:

• Protect information belonging to Qualabs and its stakeholders, preserving its confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
• Promote the responsible, secure, ethical, and trustworthy use, development, acquisition, and management of artificial intelligence systems.
• Provide the framework to establish, review, and monitor information security and artificial intelligence objectives, ensuring their alignment with the organization's purpose, identified risks, and applicable requirements.
• Manage risks related to information security, cybersecurity, privacy, and artificial intelligence, according to criteria defined by the organization.
• Comply with applicable requirements related to information security and artificial intelligence, including legal, regulatory, contractual, normative, business, and relevant stakeholder requirements.
• Ensure that artificial intelligence systems used, developed, acquired, or provided by Qualabs are managed according to their intended purpose, risk level, and applicable requirements.
• Establish controls to prevent, detect, respond to, and learn from incidents related to information, technological systems, and artificial intelligence systems.
• Maintain continuity of critical operations through reasonable prevention, response, and recovery measures.
• Promote awareness and training for personnel in information security, cybersecurity, privacy, and responsible artificial intelligence use.
• Keep this policy documented, communicated within the organization, and available to relevant stakeholders when appropriate.
• Continuously improve the appropriateness, adequacy, and effectiveness of the integrated Information Security and Artificial Intelligence Management System.
• Apply corresponding actions in case of non-compliance with this policy, in accordance with internal regulations, contractual obligations, and applicable legislation.
