In partnership with Ateme, Cloudflare and implemented in collaboration with Qualabs, EZDRM is demonstrating a next-generation live streaming workflow combining Media over QUIC (MoQ), DRM, and real-time content provenance.
A joint demo for NAB Show 2026 covering the full pipeline from dynamic packaging to playback, bringing two independent systems together into a single, interoperable end-to-end C2PA implementation for live video, proving that content authenticity can travel with video across platforms without changing existing infrastructure.

"Kudos to Qualabs and to everyone contributing to the C2PA efforts. Could not have asked for better partners. It was rewarding to work with people that share a desire to move the industry forward by solving real problems."
To meet the growing need for authentic and verifiable streaming content, this project tackled the challenge of applying the new C2PA standard to a live video workflow — a space with no prior references or applications. The team developed a live solution to sign, embed, and validate metadata on the fly, enabling large-scale adoption of tamper-safe live video.
A Media & Entertainment company aimed to expand its content offering by transforming its VoD catalog into a digital linear channel. Rather than investing in full re-encoding pipelines or live production infrastructure, the goal was to repurpose existing on-demand assets into a continuous, scheduled, lean-back viewing experience that mimics a traditional TV channel. This effort was positioned as a Proof of Concept (PoC) to validate a new approach for scaling FAST-like channels with minimal operational overhead.
Qualabs collaborated with Alex Giladi to showcase DASH overlays at Demuxed 2025, demonstrating real-time client-side overlays for video streaming. Using MPEG-DASH's event messaging, the solution enables dynamic overlays without server-side processing. Contributions to Shaka Player and dash.js helped expand its adoption, enhancing user experience, accessibility, and monetization.
How can live streaming platforms achieve both personalization and playback performance when it comes to ad insertion? At Mile High Video 2025, Qualabs and Wowza tackled this challenge head-on, combining real-time signaling, HLS metadata, and VAST-driven logic to demonstrate how Server-Guided Ad Insertion (SGAI) can be implemented efficiently at scale.
A leading company in the video communication space needed to evolve a critical platform under tight timelines and complex constraints. They weren’t just looking for engineering support — they needed a strategic technology partner who could integrate quickly, understand their context deeply, and start delivering value immediately.
The challenge involved implementing core functions such as video on demand (VOD) and live streaming on Roku, taking full advantage of the potential of its user interfaces. In addition, integrating analytics and advertising systems was crucial to gain valuable user insights and revenue opportunities. The lack of comprehensive documentation, developer support, preview tools, and emulators further complicated the development and testing process, requiring innovative solutions and a flexible approach.
